A Beautiful October Sunday at Vanderbeek Farm near Bohemia, PA

Me, Dad, Grandma, Maddie, Angie, Uncle Seanie, and Crazy Carl went to the Vanderbeek Farm yesterday for the pumpkin patch and petting zoo.  It was a beautiful day with bright sunshine and the temperature around 70 degrees (I don't know what that means, but Grandpa says it's good).  Grandpa didn't go with us.  He said he had to run up to Narrowsburg to get his Sunday newspapers (they don't deliver where he lives).  Mom had to work, so she couldn't go with us either.  I sure missed her.  Anyway, grandpa let us use his camera and we got the photos below.  Hope you enjoy them.

"This is fun!"

"I hate pigs."

"Dad, what's the big deal with the rusty old pig?"
The Pumpkin Patch
We're checking out the pumpkins.  Everyone gets to take one (us little folks that is -- the adults are just here to help no matter what they think).
Decisions, decisions.
Maddie found her pumpkin and suckered some....er, asked someone to carry it off for her.

Angie found hers and didn't need any assistance.
The girls did good!!
Me and Dad checking out the pumpkins.  He reminded me, "These aren't tires son, you can't kick 'em."
I think this one works for me.
Dad was a good sport and helped me carry it off.

"Mom, this is a special day!!  What's with the phone?"

Maddie, Uncle Sean, Angie, and Uncle Carl.  They're good guys.

Notice how Uncle Sean can't let go of his phone.  Uncle Carl teases him about it.

Uncle Sean with me and my sisters.

Let me out!!

How did you get out there?  You were just behind me!

C'mon, let me out.

Yeah, I'll get you for this!!
The Petting Zoo

Why is it that whenever I go to a petting zoo, I'm the one on a short leash?

It was a really great day for the family.  We need to do that more often.  Thanks Dad, Grandma, Uncle Sean, and Uncle Carl for showing us such a good time.
