A Spring Day on the Delaware River

We were headed out to the river for a spring outing.  It's been a long winter and we finally had a beautiful sunny day.

This is the creek from the bridge.  The bridge is part of an old logging road built during the late 1800's.  That's the Delaware River out there.
Me and grandma on the bridge.

Walking across the bridge.

Me and grandma down by the riveer.
Whose hand is that?

Down by the river, .....

This is the Roebling Bridge at Lackawaxen, my hometown (guess who that is in the middle of the road?)

This bridge was built in 1848 by the same guy who built the Brooklyn Bridge.  It's a valuable piece of history.
This is the old toll house, where you would pay to cross the bridge.  It's free nowadays.

Me and grandma have a lot of fun together.
